The night before.
Dave here. I’m kinda beat. I spent all day trying to get some last minute items dealt with at work, as one is wont to do before a long trip like this…how long, you ask? We’ll be gone until the 11th of July, so about 2 and a half weeks.
Another crappy thing that happened today was that United called and left a message on my phone that our flight from Boston to Chicago (a.k.a. the first one) was cancelled. My phone happened to be conveniently turned off, so I didn’t figure this out for a few hours. Luckily, I called and spoke with a helpful woman named Jackie who fixed things right up for us, although our seats aren’t quite as nice as they were before…but they weren’t great before, so whatever.
