On Our Way!
We are in the airport in Washington D.C. As I mentioned previously, we had a last-minute cancellation yesterday for our flight to Narita (via Chicago) from Boston. So, I scrambled to call up United and get things sorted out. Luckily, we were fine…but when we were waiting in line this morning at check-in it became apparent that many other folks either hadn’t gotten the message or hadn’t sorted it out yet. So we certainly felt relieved when we finally boarded our plane to D.C. (where we are leaving to go to Narita from instead of Chicago now).
Now we are waiting for our flight and are feeling pretty jazzed about our trip. We only slept about four or so hours last night and we are running on adrenaline. After our next flight (~13 hours!?) we will be in Narita, Japan! This is very exciting! You can tell how excited Suzanne is here by the size of her coffee:
